Some people were Born to Blog. Judging by the number of entries on mine, I, clearly, am not a contender for the title.  Am I going to improve? Who knows? Maybe it’s like fitness - you get into the grove, the habit of it. Your adrenaline builds up and somehow you get to like it. Or am I deluded?

So here goes, my first attempt in nine months: Since my last entry, I have experienced the pain of a fractured finger. I’m beginning to know the hair-greying stress of moving house. A family dog is on the cards. (And I have made it clear to all concerned that I will not be picking up dog poo). I have been rained on for an entire summer. I finally gave in to my son’s demands and bleached his hair.  

Already, I’m tired of all the ‘I’s.
